Presentation of the Swedish model of working with employment of people with disabilities. About 10 leading Swedish social agents (authorities, NGO:s, Government agencies etcetera) in the Swedish society presents their operations.

On site visits
The purpose is to present “The Samhall Way of Workability” in practice. The idea is to arrange the visits in smaller groups having 5-10 parallel visits giving the participants a chance to meet Samhall employees and get to know Samhall in practise. Samhall has a broad range of different operations from manufacturing to services there. We invite delegates to visit one of the following:

a) An integrated operation – a group of Samhall employees working at the customer’s premises. In integrated operations Samhall offers staff working in warehousing/logistics, manufacturing/assembly among other sectors. Integrated operations with totally 5 000 employees is now the fastest growing business in Samhall.
b) Cleaning and property services – Samhall is one of Sweden’s largest suppliers of cleaning services. Within the service sector Samhall also offers different kind of elderly services as distribution of food, house cleaning etc. The total number of Samhall employees in the service sector is about 7 200. c) An industrial production unit – Samhall has a history as a strong subcontractor to big manufacturing companies in Sweden. IT/telecom products, medical-technology, auto products, energy and environmental products are some of Samhall’s areas today.
d) A production unit with assembly and/or packaging – in a lot of Samhall’s smaller production units the main emphasis of the operations is packing and assembly for local customers. Some of the production units are today localised together with so called Development Forum offering the employees different development activities. 8 000 Samhall employees are today working within the production units, including the industrial production.
